-Patellar surface
-Adductor tubercle
-Articular cartilages

Proximal tibia

-Lateral and medial condyle
-Tibial plateau
-Tibial tuberosity
-Articular facet for fibula
-Tibial crest
-Articular cartilage

Proximal tibia

-Lateral and medial condyle
-Tibial plateau
-Tibial tuberosity
-Articular facet for fibula
-Tibial crest
-Articular cartilage

Fibula
-Head of the fibula

Patella
-No muscles are attached
-Better joint movement
-Leverage for muscles acting on the tibia

-Patellar tendon

THE KNEE

-Complex joint
-Flexion, extension, rotation
-Any deformity can cause malalignment of the whole body
-Synovial hinge joint
-Femur, tibia, fibula, patella
-Tibiofemoral joint, proximal tibiofibular joint, patellofemoral joint
