What Vitamins are Not?

I remember way back in my biochemistry class- not so long ago- my Doctor-Professor use to say the following facts about vitamins. And I guess this may help readers to clear things out about the supplements available in the market today.
WHAT VITAMINS ARE NOT?
1. Vitamins per se, do not have caloric or energy value.
2. Vitamins are not substitute for proteins, carbohydrates, fats, minerals, etc.
3. Vitamins are not components of our body structures.
4. You cannot take vitamins, then stop eating, and expect yourself to be healthy.
